Welcome to Cozy A, a sharehouse in Kismet, Fire Island

2012 will be our seventh year in Kismet, and we are ready for another great summer. We have several returning members (ages 32-45), with room for a few more shares. We're here to relax, have some fun, and work on our tans.

The House

Cozy A is a five-bedroom house with a private rooftop deck and a large, secluded main deck that's perfect for BBQing, poker, or just killing time in the hammock. The house sleeps 8-10 each weekend. We never have an overcrowded house, and all shares always have their own bed (no bunk beds), with no more than two people per room. We’re a laid-back bunch that enjoys good beer and wine and well-engineered cocktails.
Dinners are usually a group effort, with some folks prepping, others working the grill, and others cleaning up. Many nights, someone gets inspired and whips up a favorite dish or dessert, maybe stuffed zucchini or a key lime pie. We enjoy hanging out with friends in other houses, and last year we hosted several cocktail hours.

Kismet

Kismet is one of the most relaxing spots on Fire Island. There are no cars, the beach is clean and uncrowded, and there's a nearby state park for walking, jogging, or just enjoying nature. The town is a great mix of locals, families, and sharehouses. There are several large parties and events during the summer, including:
